Return Policy
We want you (and your hound) to love your purchase. If something isn’t right, we want to fix it! Here’s how we handle returns, defects, and shipping damage.
Eligibility & Conditions

Collars (incorrect sizing): We accept returns only if the item is unused, in original condition, and in the original packaging (no signs of wear, fur, odors, or adjustments). The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Shipping fees: Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Inspection: Refunds are initiated after the returned item is received and inspected.
Manufacturer Defects

If your item has a manufacturing defect, we’ll replace it once the item is received and evaluated.
Damaged in Transit

If your order arrives damaged, please email us within 5 days of delivery so we can file a carrier claim and send a replacement.
How to Initiate a Return

Email returns@thehoundandhome.com with your order number, item details, and clear photos (packaging, product, and any issue).

We’ll reply with next steps and the return address.

Pack the item securely in its original packaging and ship it back using a trackable service.

Once received and inspected, we’ll process your refund to the original payment method (minus shipping).
Notes

We cannot accept used items, items without original packaging, or items showing wear.

Please allow standard bank processing time after we issue the refund.
